U.S. Government Manual Updated

This just in from our U.S. Government Manual  editors at the OFR — all agency entries have been updated, including listings for Boards, Bilateral Organizations, and Multilateral Organizations.

The Manual’s “History of Agency Organizational Changes” document has also been updated. If you need to track down which Federal agencies have been terminated, transferred, or changed in name subsequent to March 4, 1933, this is an invaluable resource.

In addition, the OFR and GPO will be releasing a new printed edition in the near future, which will also be posted to FDsys.gov in PDF format. Concurrently, bulk XML data output from the Manual will be added to Data.gov for developers to explore.

Our website for the currently updated edition of the U.S. Government Manual is USGovernmentManual.gov. For general inquiries about the U.S. Government Manual, contact govman@gpo.gov.
