Federal Register Modernization Act Passed House of Representatives

In a unanimous vote of 386-0, the House of Representatives passed the Federal Register Modernization Act, an act amending the Federal Register Act of 1935. The act includes measures to better utilize technology, ease the administrative burden placed on agencies seeking to publish documents, and continue the Federal Register’s dedication to using print and digital platforms to better serve and inform the public.
