Presidential Commission on Assignment of Women in the Armed Forces

The Presidential Commission on Assignment of Women in the Armed Forces was established in 1992 by the Defense Authorization Bill for 1992 [Pub. L. 102-190).
The Commission was created to assess the laws and policies restricting the assignment of female service members.

The Commission was terminated following the submission of its final report to Congress on December 15, 1992.
