The OFR/GPO partnership is committed to presenting accurate and reliable regulatory information on FederalRegister.gov with the objective of establishing the XML-based Federal Register as an ACFR-sanctioned publication in the future. While every effort has been made to ensure that the material on FederalRegister.gov is accurately displayed, consistent with the official SGML-based PDF version on govinfo.gov, those relying on it for legal research should verify their results against an official edition of the Federal Register. Until the ACFR grants it official status, the XML rendition of the daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov does not provide legal notice to the public or judicial notice to the courts.
The Emergency Oil and Gas Guaranteed Loan Board has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for clearance the following proposal for collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Needs and Uses: Pursuant to “The Emergency Oil and Gas Guaranteed Loan Program Act of 1999,” Chapter 2, Public Law 106-51, the Emergency Oil and Gas Guaranteed Loan Board developed a guarantee agreement that must be signed by qualified oil and gas companies that receive loan guarantees. The information being collected will be used and is necessary to ensure that the applicant is meeting the conditions of the guarantee agreement and to protect the Federal government from default and/or fraud. The information is also required as supporting documentation for annual or other audits that may be conducted by or on behalf of the Board or by the General Accounting Office (GAO) for as long as the guarantee agreement is in effect.

Frequency: Quarterly and, if applicable, in the event of noncompliance with terms of the guarantee agreement.
Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary but required to obtain a loan guarantee.
