Proposed collection; comment request.


The proposed information collection described below will be submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35, as amended). The Tennessee Valley Authority is soliciting public comments on this proposed collection as provided by 5 CFR Section 1320.8(d)(1). Requests for information, including copies of the information collection proposed and supporting documentation, should be directed to the Agency Clearance Officer: Wilma H. Comments should be sent to the Agency Clearance Officer no later than April 6, 2001.

Title of Information Collection: TVA Police Customer Satisfaction Survey.

Frequency of Use: On occasion.

Affected Public: Individuals and Small Businesses.

Small Businesses or Organizations Affected: Yes.

Estimated Number of Annual Responses: 2,000.

Estimated Total Annual Burden Hours: 167.

Estimated Average Burden Hours Per Response: 5 minutes.

Need For and Use of Information: This information collection will be randomly distributed to individuals who use TVA facilities and come in contact with TVA Police Officers (i.e., campers, boaters, marina operators, etc.) to provide feedback on the quality of the security and safety provided by TVA Police on TVA-managed public lands. The information collection will be used to evaluate current security and safety policies and to identify new opportunities for improvements.
