k. Description of Request: Avista Corporation, (Avista) filed an amendment of its license to revise the Start Printed Page 64618generating and hydraulic capacities of the project. Avista is requesting the amendment to reflect a recent turbine and generator upgrade of Unit #3, and to allow for an upgrade of Unit #2 of the four units at the Cabinet Gorge Development. The upgrades will result in an increase of the total installed capacity of the Cabinet Gorge Development from 231 MW to 257 MW, and the design flow from 36,000 cfs to 37,400 cfs. Avista is not proposing changes to project operation, or water levels in its amendment application.
