Take notice that on January 15, 2004, Equitrans, L.P. (Equitrans) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to become effective on January 1, 2004:

Substitute Eighth Revised Sheet No. 5

Substitute Eleventh Revised Sheet No. 6

Substitute Fourth Revised Sheet No. 11

Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 202

Substitute Second Revised Sheet No. 203

Equitrans states that the foregoing tariff sheets are being filed to comply with the Commission's Order, issued herein on December 31, 2003.

Equitrans further states that its filing is being served on all parties to this proceeding, on all of Equitrans' existing customers, and upon the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and the West Virginia Public Service Commission.

Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with section 385.211 of the Commission's rules and regulations. All such protests must be filed in accordance with section 154.210 of the Commission's regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
