Description of Request: Georgia Power (licensee) is requesting Commission approval for the City of Sparta to increase the amount of water withdrawn from the Sinclair Hydroelectric Project from 1.0 million gallons per day (MGD) to up to 2.0 MGD. The increase will not require any new construction or conveyance of lands within the project boundary. Water withdrawn will be for municipal use only.
