Take notice that on September 17, 2007, American Electric Power Service Corporation on behalf of Appalachian Power Company, Columbus Southern Power Company, Indiana Michigan Power Company, Kentucky Power Company, Kingsport Power Company, Ohio Power Company and Wheeling Power Company (collectively, AEP), pursuant to Rule 206 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure and sections 206 and 306 of the Federal Power Act, filed a Complaint and Motion to Consolidate against Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc. (Midwest ISO) and PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. (PJM), alleging that the rate designs underlying their open access transmission tariffs are unjust, unreasonable, and unduly discriminatory and therefore must be revised. AEP requests that the Commission establish a refund-effective Start Printed Page 54650date of October 1, 2007, with respect to the necessary revisions.
AEP states that copies of the Complaint were served upon the contacts for Midwest ISO and PJM as listed on the Commission's list of Corporate Officials.
Any person desiring to intervene or to protest this filing must file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211, 385.214). Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a notice of intervention or motion to intervene, as appropriate.
