The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on May 15, 2008, vol. 73, no. 95, pages 28183-28184. SFAR 36 (to part 121) relieves qualifying applicants involved in aircraft repair of the burden to obtain FAA approval of data developed by them for the major repairs on a case-by-case basis; and provides for one-time approvals.
