The Department of the Treasury, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing information collections, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13 (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)). Currently, the IRS is soliciting comments concerning Form 5735, Possessions Corporation Tax Credit (Under Sections 936 and 30A), and Schedule P (Form 5735), Allocation of Income and Expenses Under Section 936(h)(5).
Written comments should be received on or before August 17, 2009 to be assured of consideration.

Title: Possessions Corporation Tax Credit (Under sections 936 and 30A), and Allocation of Income and Expenses Under Section 936(h)(5).

Form Number: Form 5735 and Schedule P (Form 5735).
Abstract: Form 5735 is used to compute the possessions corporation tax credit under sections 936 and 30A. Schedule P (Form 5735) is used by corporations that elect to share their income or expenses with their affiliates. The forms provide the IRS with information to determine if the corporations have computed the tax credit and the cost-sharing or profit-split method of allocating income and expenses.
Current Actions: There are no changes being made to the forms at this time.
