Until the ACFR grants it official status, the XML rendition of the daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov does not provide legal notice to the public or judicial notice to the courts.

This notice sets forth the schedule and proposed agenda of a forthcoming meeting of the Marine Start Printed Page 37190Fisheries Advisory Committee (MAFAC). The members will discuss and provide advice on issues outlined in the agenda below.

The MAFAC was established by the Secretary of Commerce (Secretary) on February 17, 1971, to advise the Secretary on all living marine resource matters that are the responsibility of the Department of Commerce. This committee advises and reviews the adequacy of living marine resource policies and programs to meet the needs of commercial and recreational fisheries, and environmental, State, consumer, academic, tribal, governmental and other national interests.
