Notice of Request to Release Airport Property.
The FAA proposes to rule and invite public comment on the release of land at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport under the provisions of Section 125 of the Wendell H. Ford Aviation Investment Reform Act for the 21st Century (AIR 21).
Comments must be received on or before April 16, 2010.

The FAA invites public comment on the request to release property at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport under the provisions of the AIR 21.
On January 29, 2010, the FAA determined that the request to release property at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, submitted by the Airport, met the procedural requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations, Part 155. The FAA may approve the request, in whole or in part, no later than March 29, 2010.
The following is a brief overview of the request:
The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport requests the release of 137-743 Start Printed Page 12810acres of non-aeronautical airport property. The land was acquired by the Cities of Dallas and Fort Worth for use as an airport. The funds generated by the release will be used to improve the Airport's roadway system.
