Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Notice and request for comment.
In accordance with requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (“PRA”), 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq., the FDIC may not conduct or sponsor, and the respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection unless it displays a currently valid Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number. The FDIC, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the renewal of existing information collections, as required by the PRA. On May 3, 2011 (76 FR 24880), the FDIC solicited public comment for a 60-day period on renewal of the following information collection: Flood Insurance (3064-0120). No comments were received. However, questions did arise, in response to other agency notices, regarding the amount of burden taken for flood insurance collections. In response to those concerns, the FDIC has substantially increased its estimate of paperwork burden. The FDIC hereby gives notice of submission of its request for renewal to OMB for review.
Comments must be submitted on or before August 29, 2011.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments to the FDIC by any of the following methods:
- E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. Include the name of the collection in the subject line of the message.
