This notice announces that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has forwarded the Information Collection Request (ICR), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number 1652-0030, abstracted below, to OMB for review and approval of an extension of the currently-approved collection under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. TSA published a Federal Register notice, with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments, of the following collection of information on September 21, 2011 (76 FR 58532). TSA uses a customer comment card to collect passenger comments at airports, including complaints, compliments, and suggestions.
Send your comments by February 27, 2012. A comment to OMB is most effective if OMB receives it within 30 days of publication.
Interested persons are invited to submit written comments on the proposed information collection to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, OMB. Abstract: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking renewal of the TSA Customer Comment Card information collection. The card is being used by TSA at airports to collect customer comments, including complaints, compliments, and suggestions. This collection continues a voluntary program for passengers to provide feedback to TSA regarding their experiences with TSA security procedures. This collection of information allows TSA to evaluate and address customer concerns about security procedures and policies. There has been a correction made to the number of respondents and hour burden since the publishing of the 60-day notice.
Number of Respondents: 150,000.
Estimated Annual Burden Hours: An estimated 12,500 hours annually.
