Notice to delete a System of Records.
The Department of the Air Force is deleting a system of records notice in its existing inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended.
This proposed action will be effective on October 15, 2012 unless comments are received which result in a contrary determination. Comments will be accepted on or before October 15, 2012.

The Department of the Air Force proposes to delete a system of records notice from its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. The proposed deletion is not within the purview of subsection (r) of the Privacy Act of 1974, (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, which requires the submission of a new or altered system report.

Reason: Records are no longer required to be maintained by any office within the Directorate of Assignments (DPA) or any office with the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC). Information is accessed through the Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS). Therefore, FO36 AFPC M Officer Utilization Records System (June 11, 1997, 62 FR 31793) can be deleted.
