On May 23, 2014, NYSE Arca, Inc. (“NYSE Arca”) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”) a proposed rule change pursuant to Section 19(b)(1) of the Start Printed Page 47502Securities Exchange Act of 1934 [1] and Rule 19b-4 thereunder [2] to amend the NYSE Arca Options Fee Schedule relating to lead market maker rights fees. The proposed rule change was published for comment in the Federal Register on June 10, 2014.[3] On July 18, 2014, the Commission suspended and instituted proceedings to determine whether to approve or disapprove the proposed rule change.[4] The Commission received no comment letters regarding the proposal. On August 5, 2014, NYSE Arca withdrew the proposed rule change (SR-NYSEArca-2014-63).
