Proposed rule; reopening of comment period.
On October 24, 2018, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a proposed rule and provided for a thirty-day public comment period. The public comment period closed on November 23, 2018 and EPA received three comments. The purpose of this document is to reopen the comment period for an additional 30 days. This extension of the comment period is provided to allow the public additional time to provide comment on the October 24, 2018 proposed rule. All comments submitted during the original comment period as well those submitted during this extension of the comment period will be accepted and considered.
Comments on this proposed rule must be received by August 9, 2019.

Instructions: EPA must receive your comments by August 9, 2019. Direct your comments to Docket ID Number EPA-R06-RCRA-2016-0549. On October 24, 2018 (83 FR 53595), the EPA published a Proposed Rule to approve state-initiated changes and incorporation by reference of the State of Texas hazardous waste program under (RCRA). EPA is reopening the comment period due to a comment noting the public needed additional time to comment and that some items were not in the docket on www.regulations.gov. EPA has now put these documents into the docket identified by Docket ID EPA-R06-RCRA-2016-0549 at www.regulations.gov and provided this additional comment period.
