Announcement of meeting.
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission), and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a meeting of the District of Columbia Advisory Committee to the Commission will convene by conference call, at 12:00 p.m. (EDT) Thursday, September 5, 2019. The purpose of the planning meeting is to continue project planning for a future briefing meeting on the Committee's civil rights project that examines the intersection of homelessness, mental health and the criminal justice system, including a review of the DC Mental Health Court.
