The Research Steering Committee (RSC) of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a meeting.


The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021, beginning at 9 a.m. and conclude by 12 noon. For agenda details, see SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION.


The meeting will be held via webinar. Details on the proposed agenda, webinar listen-in access, and briefing materials will be posted at the MAFMC's website:

The purpose of this RSC meeting is to discuss re-development of the research set-aside program. In doing so, the RSC will also discuss the outcomes of the April 2020 meeting, the Scientific and Statistical Committee Economic Working Group involvement, and detail workshop logistics.
