Unified Agenda 1513-AB81

Establishment of the Coombsville Viticultural Area

The proposed 11,200-acre Coombsville viticultural area is located in Napa County, California, within the Napa Valley and larger, multi-county North Coast viticultural areas. It includes 1,360 acres of commercial viticulture. The Coombsville area sits in a crescent-shaped basin developed from ancient volcanic action and subsequent erosion. Geology, geography, soils, and climate distinguish the proposed viticultural area from the surrounding areas.
